Aesthetic treatment of melasma using glycolic acid and diamond peeling: case report

The aim of this case report was to describe the academic experience in an internship field at the Clinic School de Physiotherapy da FAMP with a patient with Melasma on the face. A physiotherapeutic evaluation form was drawn up and the intervention procedures were drawn up, which were the use of diamond peeling in the first session for exfoliation of the first layer of the skin and the use of chemical peeling with glycolic acid for 9 sessions, once a week for 40 minutes.
