For drugs to reach pharmacies and drugstores, they must undergo several tests and analyzes to prove quality and compliance, to achieve their effectiveness and therapeutic potential. It is no different with acetylsalicylic acid, considering NSAIDs (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs), acetylsalicylic acid passes all these tests. AAS has properties to relieve headache, fever, inflammation, antipyretic, antirheumatic, analgesic, anticoagulant. This research aimed to determine the content or dosage of acetylsalicylic acid in four different brands, two of 100 mg and two of 500 mg, sold in the interior of Goiás. The technique used for dosage was the titration technique, using of accessories, glassware and reagents with relatively low cost, but which is a robust technique for determinations. The analyzes were carried out according to authors' research in the literature, and the results were compared with the parameters required by Brazilian Pharmacopoeia V. All brands evaluated were approved in the dosage, showing the quality of the marketed drug, and the excellent technique of determination by titration. It is concluded that through this study, the analyzes carried out meet quality standards in terms of active ingredient content.
