A Study On The Reflection Of Domestic Violence In The Period From June To September 2019 In Relation To The Same Period In 2020.

Abstract

During the pandemic period, which took place worldwide, at the beginning of 2020, there were
changes in all social contexts. In the family environment, it is no different, as the social isolation
measures encouraged everyone to stay at home and work under the home office modality. As a
result, it is observed that, in the domestic sphere, relationships become more intense, both
positively and negatively, here, and emphasizing violence against women, which grew as a
result of the pandemic. Therefore, this work aims to present a comparison between June and
September 2019 in relation to the same period of the year 2020. The focus of this research is
women who suffer any type of domestic violence in the city of Mineiros Goiás, the nature of
the research will be in shape of survey and data verification at the Public Security Bureau in
Criminal Statistics and Productivity - State of Goiás through a survey through exploratory
research, the study of this work will be based on complaints presented during the peak period
of the COVID-19 June pandemic to September 2020 in relation to June to September 2019. In
this case, the entire sample presented from the established periods was selected. The survey
carried out showed a decrease in the records of complaints in the proposed period. With this, it
becomes noticeable how much the Covid-19 pandemic contributed to this reduction in
complaints, due to the lack of access to environments that were used before
