Probiotics are living microorganisms that, when administered to affected individuals as a supplement, confer beneficial effects to the host through their gut microbiota. As life expectancy increases, probiotic, antibiotic and symbolic studies have been increased in professionals with a better quality of life associated with longer life span. Note an indication of several clinical specialties for adjuvant treatment in an attempt to restore the healthy microbiome and reduce recurrent chronic and / or autoimmune diseases, conditions whose trigger factor is a disorder and improves nutrient absorption. The mechanism of action is based on restoring intestinal microbiota balance, restoring intestinal permeability, improving the immune function of the intestinal barrier and decreasing proinflammatory cytokine production, as well as stimulating selective selection or growth of beneficial bacteria in the intestine. and the pH of the intestine. In this study, a structured interview was conducted in Minas Gerais - GO with health professionals who use or use probiotics in their clinical clinics. The objective of this study was to identify the relevance of the use of probabilities as an adjuvant treatment in practice, and to evaluate the degree of knowledge of health professionals about the subject and the main difficulties used by them. In conclusion, through the result of this research, the use of these supplements depends on their viability and the correct type of strain prescribed for each case, as each species has its specific indication and when correctly prescribed, the observed results are satisfactory.
