Introduction: The shoulder is the most mobile joint in the human body, presenting little stability, and consequently being more prone to injuries, such as those of the RC. RC injuries can be classified into complete or partial ruptures, which most often define the type of treatment used, which can be conservative or surgical. The most commonly used is the conservative approach, including physiotherapy, which uses its resources and techniques in order to obtain complete recovery of the limb. Objective: The objective of the present study was to report the case of a patient diagnosed with a traumatic shoulder injury treated at the Clínica Escola de Fisioterapia da Facudade FAMP, from August to December 2022, totaling 22 consultations, as well as to highlight the techniques of treatment used. Methodology: The collected data were given through the use of the internship's standard evaluation form, composed of anamnesis and physical examination, through inspection and palpation, with measurements of the active range of motion (ROM) degrees, muscle strength tests (FM ), pain, sensitivity and special orthopedic tests. Results: The techniques addressed mainly included: Electrotherapy (TENS), joint mobilization (Maitland and Mulligan), PNF, and kinesiotherapy, which at the end of the sessions provided a significant reduction in pain, increased range of motion and improved muscle strength. Conclusion: The physiotherapeutic approach using associated techniques of electrotherapy, joint mobilization, PNF and kinesiotherapy proved to be effective in the treatment of traumatic shoulder injuries, as demonstrated in the elucidated results.
