THE PREDOMINANCE OF ENTEROPARASITAS IN CHILDREN OF ZERO TO TWO YEARS AGE IN THE MUNICIPAL CENTERS OF CHILDREN EDUCATION IN CITIES OF THE INTERIOR OF GOIÁS

Abstract

The present study was carried out in order to verify if the regularly enrolled and frequent children of the CMEIs in municipalities of the interior of Goiás had or not some pathology of parasitic character, considering that the intestinal parasitoses are considered an immense problem of Public Health in the Brazil, since it is immensely detrimental to the population, thus causing a compromise of the children's school progress and making possible other affections. With theoretical basis in several literatures, it was possible to carry out the project, making it feasible to analyze the prevalence of enteroparasites in two different municipalities. It was possible to obtain a descriptive study, with technical visits and regulated through the application of the Informed Consent Term based on Resolution No. 190/96 of the National Health Council. support of the quantitative study, where the main enteroparasitoses were found in children in the city of Maurilândia, with predominance of Giardia Lamblia. In the municipality of Aparecida do Rio Doce, the enteroparasites were practically null due to vermifugation.
