NURSING AND HUMANIZATION ASSISTANCE IN PATIENT AFTER AVC

Abstract

Troque si onde of the leading causes of death over the past decade, with one in six people worldwide estimated to have a stroke every second. Stroke (stroke) is characterized by a compromise of blood flow to the brain by occlusion or rupture in a cerebral blood vessel. In the light of several studies, stroke can be classified in two categories as ischemic cerebral vascular accident caused by the clogging of blood vessels and hemorrhagic cerebral vascular accident, which occur due to rupture of cerebral arteries. Nursing plays a fundamental role in this process, adequate care can reduce costs and promote patient improvement through guidelines, assisting in patient care, giving the caregiver autonomy and thus developing a safe care in the attributions that are pertinent to them. The nurse plays an important role with the caregiver, it is necessary to understand not only patients with stroke but also their families. The health professional should be part of the daily life of the patient in post-stroke, the nurse must provide care so that all action taken guides nursing principles and human values. The purpose of this study is to show the importance of nursing care in the humanized care of post-stroke patients. Due to the high epidemiological index and the increase in the occurrence of the disease in the last years it is indispensable a humanized assistance, seeking to minimize risks and better quality of life for the patient, aiming to guarantee better assistance in the service provided by the professionals.
