Abstract

This paper aims to present how the Humanization of Health process emerges in the context of the problematization of health services aiming at the need for comfortable care, which is egalitarian, totalitarian and efficient. Addressing each human being in a unique way, especially the needs of the elderly. The aging of the population brings adversities that challenge health and social security systems. Growing old does not necessarily mean being sick. Unless there is any associated pathology, aging is related to a good level of health. In addition, advances in health and technology allow the population to have timely access to appropriate public or private services for a better quality of life in this cycle. Therefore, it is essential to employ health care actions throughout the course of life, because of their potential to deliberately address today's challenges and those of tomorrow. Because Brazil ages rapidly and abundantly, today the country has the fifth elderly population in the world. The exhausting aging process, body and cells suffer after reaching adulthood. The health care of the elderly is guaranteed by the recovery of health and the maintenance of autonomy, implying the optimization of health opportunity, participation and safety of the elderly, in order to improve the quality of life from the elderly, and may also contribute to The elderly discover the possibilities to live a life with the highest quality possible. This phase of life needs the training of professionals in family health strategy to adequately care for this target audience, so that there is the promotion of the quality of life of the elderly in search of a healthy aging.
