The presentation protection of children and adolescents in armed conflicts: today's humanitarian debates

The present work focuses on the analysis of Human Rights in the Brazilian Constitution, as well as the relationship between social diversity and the realization of Fundamental Rights, in the search for the fulfillment of guarantees for children and adolescents. This work aims to observe, in a broad way, the role of the UN and UNICEF together with the statute of children and adolescents, as one of the instruments for the effective application of rights and guarantees for children and adolescents in armed conflicts. A brief report on the historical evolution of fundamental rights and guarantees for children and adolescents in Brazil and internationally. What is the situation of these children and adolescents in armed conflicts and the implementation of laws in the legal system, and demonstrates the provisions of the statute of children and adolescents in the protection and guarantees in the face of armed conflicts. The research was developed in a qualitative and explanatory way, where the present project is structured in three topics. The first was to highlight the evolution of Child and Adolescent Law norms. The second discusses the UN's role in protecting children and adolescents from armed conflicts in the world. And the third sought to present the main provisions of the Child and Adolescent Statute on the protection of children in situations of armed conflict in Brazil.
